Today we finished sections 11.4 and 11.5. This completes the course for us. The last assignment is due next Wednesday.

Today we went over sections 11.1-11.3 and covered the first half of 11.4. We will finish 11.4 on Monday.

Today we covered section 11.1 on the review of trigonometric identities. Please do the pratice problems in the section for homework. 

Today was the test on Unit 10.

Today students worked on assignment #10 which is due tomorrow. The test on unit 10 will be on Thursday, May 3rd. We don't have class on Wednesday so everyone should make sure they pick up their corrected assignments.

Today we covered section 10.4 on graphs of reciprocal functions. Please do the practice problems at the end of the section and you are now able to complete assignment 10. You will have time to work on the assignment on Monday and it is due no later than Tuesday. The test on this unit will be next Thursday, May 3rd.

Today we covered section 10.3 on the graphs of tan functions. For homework please do the practice problems at the end of the section. You can also do #1-4a,b,c on assignment #10.

Today we covered section 10.2 on graphs of sine and cosine. For homework please do the practive problems at the end of the section. It is very important that you practice this material. 

Today we covered section 10.1 on trigonometry review. For homework do #1-3 at the end of the section. Tomorrow's class will be a review assignment to refresh your memory on these topics.

Today we reviewed for the unit 9 test which will take place next Wednesday. Please make sure your assignment is handed in by Monday.

Today we reviewed the homework from 9.2 and students spent the remainder of class working on Assignment #9. We will continue with section 9.3.

Today we went over graphing polynomials. I had intended to have students do some of the extra practice and hand them in. Instead I've decided to just have students do the assignment for unit 8. Please do #1a and d and have them done for next class.

Today we reviewed for the test on unit 7. This test will be on Thursday, Feb 23rd.

Today we reviewed unit 3 - polynomials. For extra practice do worksheets 1.1, 2.3, 2.4, and 5.1. 

Today we reviewed chapter 2 for the midterm exam. Please continue working on the worksheets. Remember that if you want to write a retest you need to let me know by the end of next week at the latest.

Today's class was spent finishing the assignent on unit 5 in preparation for tomorrow's test.

Today we covered section 4.1 on linear inequalities and absolute values. For homework please do the practice problems for this section. Note that for (c) and (d) the best method is to graph each absolute value on your calculator and solve that way.

Today we covered section 3.5 on graphing polynomials. This is a very very important section. Please be sure to do all the homework: page 58-59 #1-3. Also for extra practice see page 64. You can also now do #1-7 on assignment #3.
