Grade 8 French

Study the forms of the superlatif that we did in class today and finish page 3 in cahier.

We have just began our new unit.  New cahiers, vocab and textbooks for our next unit have been handed out.  We have started by looking at music and movies from the 60's, 70's and 80's.

Vocab for the test was given out as well.

Each student was placed in a group and within the group, an experiment was decided on.  Ensure you have your part practiced and bring in the materials necessary for the experiment

Outline was given yesterday for the test on Friday.

Test for unit 3 will be on Friday this week as announced last week., March 16th.

Due to Friday's storm day, your french test will be on Wednesday.

Test for Unit 1 will be on Wednesday as scheduled.  Outlines have been handed out and review has been done in class.  Good Luck!

Due to my being out of the classroom, I don't feel confident about testing as scheduled on Tuesday, Nov. 8th, therefore, the test is changed to November 16th, day 5.  Test outline/study guide will be passed out next class.

Fiil critiques sheet due on MOnday

Today we look at vocab for dialogues in the marketplace and we discussed these types of dialogues.  We formed groups and practiced reading dialogues.  Then we started writing dialogues.  We will continue this activity the next day.

Today we talked about open air markets and products we can buy there.  The class completed page 8 in the cahier.  Review pages in text for next classes(le marche).

Study pages 6-9 in text.  Finish page 4 in cahier, time was given in class to complete this page.

Today we worked on les mots interrogatifs.  We completed pages 3, 5 and   in our cahiers.

Vocab for the unit was given out today as well.

Today we will continue our discussion on les festivals de la francophonie.

We will continue to work on this today.
